The BIT Services Lab logo, colours and type, with files ready to download. Use these instead of screenshots or older logo files.
Use the full-colour logo on white or light backgrounds and the reversed logo on dark ones. Use a single-colour version when gradients can't be printed or the background is busy.
Use the mark alone only where the name already appears nearby, such as avatars and app icons. Below 48 px the favicon drops the two smallest hexagons so the shape stays clear.
Keep clear space around the logo equal to the height of the letters in “BIT”. Nothing else should sit inside that margin.
The first three colours come straight from the logo. The rest are for interfaces: Ink for text and dark areas, Canvas for page backgrounds, and Link Blue where brand blue is too light for small text.
Primary brand colour. Large text and graphics only.
Secondary hexagons and highlights on dark backgrounds.
Wordmark colour.
Body text, headings and dark sections.
Page background.
Buttons and links. Passes WCAG AA with white text.
The wordmark is set in Saira and supplied as outlines. Saira also sets headings, using the logo’s pairing of bold upright with light italic. All three families are free under the SIL Open Font License.
